Dining Chair

The elegantly simple geometry of this chair, with its iconic inverted V-shaped legs that converge at the seat, bears a striking resemblance to Pierre Jeanneret’s celebrated ‘Scissor Chairs (Model 92),’ designed for Knoll in 1948. This subtle nod to mid-century modern design is enriched with thoughtful details that elevate its elegance and functionality. A distinctive feature of this dining chair, present in most original pieces, is the chamfered edge beneath the seat.

This ingenious feature artfully conceals the cane weaving while adding a touch of understated sophistication—a detail we have faithfully recreated in our rendition. True to the ethos of Chandigarh furniture, this chair is constructed without nails or screws, the structure relies on a harmonious blend of tenon-and-mortise and finger joints to form a robust and seamless wooden frame
